Well, I'm back from my mini stay-cation. We went away, technically, but just an hour's drive away. Still, being as we are so blessed to live so close to the beautiful Monterey/Carmel area, it still definitely felt like a real vacation. [or, as much as a vacation as a mommy can have when traveling with her family, hahahahahaha!] I just spent two hours unloading everything and putting everything away, including the groceries we stopped to get on the way home (because I am highly efficient and knew I wouldn't want to go back out tonight after unpacking everything and settling in!). I am currently downloading all the pictures I took, which is actually not the gizillion you might expect since I really tried my best to not be in "documentation mode." After I get through editing those pics, I have to get everything ready for Ellie's birthday party tomorrow. So a LATE night tonight for sure.
