I never submit my images to contests but was very drawn to this year's PDN "faces" competition. After all, portraits are my thing! But when it came down to trying to pick just one image I just couldn't do it. I was overwhelmed by the "weeding it out" process.
Fortunately, one of the categories in this contest is "pet portraits" and I had about five stellar images of kooper to pick from. Much easier to narrow down from just five rather than 500! Ha! It came down to a final two show down and I ended up picking one that was less technical but more humorous.
The contest is decided by an elite panel of judges and some of the entries I've seen so far are mind blowingly good so I'm not holding my breath.
