Oh Lily! Such a little bundle of energy! This little one kept us on our toes! As she always does might I add. I would expect no less, which is precisely why I got myself an big ole iced double espresso on my way to the shoot. It's the only way to keep up with her! And keep up we did. :)
I'm thrilled that we were able to bring out her feisty, lively, BIG personality because she initially started out being very shy and withdrawn. But, within minutes, the real Lily came out in full force and we were able to get some of the most delightful and charming REAL smiles I've ever seen. That's the way I like them. :)
The main focus for this shoot was Lily but we did also get quite a few wonderful family images\ in as well. This little girl is loved beyond words and there is no doubt in my mind that she is gonna put her daddy through the wringer when she hits her teens. Good luck, Art. May the force be with you.... :)
Lily and her gorgeous mama.
Look at that smile, she gets it from her mama. Love this.
With her daddy whom she absolutely ADORES!
I used a reflector for some shots and OCF for others. It's almost impossible to tell which method I used on which images because my reflector is so powerful!
Those eyes! Those curls! Those pouty lips! Egad!
This was Lily's first time at the beach! Her initial reaction was delight...
Then she saw and heard a loud wave and there was instant trepidation and uncertainty on her face. Note the anxious wringing of the hands...
But soon enough she was all happily adjusted and LOVING it!
I simply ADORE this shot with the focus on her little tiny footprints on the sand and her water exploration far ahead within the realm of the safe confines of her dad's hand.
Art and Ginger, thank you SO MUCH for driving down almost 3 hrs in traffic EACH way to come see me for our annual shoot. I am quite honored! Can't wait til next year! :)
