When the lovely Melissa over at Little Skye Boutique asked me to shoot the newest season of the Neige children's clothing designs for her shop I was absolutely delighted. First of all, Little Skye is a wonderful one stop shop for the absolute best high quality and fashionable kids clothes. Second of all, Neige is a clothing line full of french flair. As a frenchie, born and raised, you can imagine why I would have an immediate affinity with these gorgeous, classy designs.
Despite quite a few unexpected snafus the day of the shoot, it all miraculously came together with stellar results! PHEW! Ellie had some help on this one thanks to Miss Emerson and the two of them proved to be a formidable twosome! Emerson's mom, Kirsten, is a close friend of mine and it was such a pleasure to be able to not only photograph the incredibly photogenic Eme but also to have her 'always makes me laugh' mommy by my side doing reflector/light/stylist duty.
As a side note, when I received the big box full of goodies and saw the shoot list I was thrilled to see one of the blouses named after me! Really! Well, ok, maybe it wasn't named after me specifically but there is a shirt in this new line called the Pascale Blouse. It was serendipity! :)
There was a total of 14 (fourteen!) different combinations/outfits to photograph and with only 2 models and three (yes, THREE!) different locations, it was quite the undertaking let me tell you... We also had a little dense fog issue... but we persevered through thick and thin, quite literally. The girls were absolutely, positively amazing. Not to mention ridiculously cute together in those gorgeous outfits. If you like what you see, and how could you not, you can swing on over to Little Sky HERE where these should be available for purchase really soon. And if you want to check out the current season of fantastic Neige clothing, you can get to the Neige website HERE.
Without further ado, Ellie and Emerson.
