I've been photographing these two families both individually and together since my first year in business. I've chronicled all their pregnancies and every new member of the family! The two moms are sisters and their mom (Hi Grandma Cindy!) gifts her daughters with this "joint" shoot every year for Christmas. Naturally, I am completely biased here, but is there any greater gift a mom/grandma can give? Think about it, she gives her daughters amazing pictures of them and their families AND she also gets amazing photos of her beloved daughters, their respective family units, all of them together and last but not least, her adored grandchildren!? Win-win!
With FOUR boys 6 and under, it can be a bit crazy at times but these kids have grown up together and are more like siblings than cousins. They absolutely adore each other and there is an incredible comfort level and closeness between ALL the members of both families. That coupled with the fact that I know them so well and they know me and my style/approach so well makes for an impressively smooth shoot, all things considered.
