I've been photographing these two families together, doing essentially three shoots at the same time, each family individually, both families together and also the cousins all individually, within their respective family unit and all the cousins together, for YEARS. It's a December tradition for all of us! These gorgeous girls are sisters and grandma (their mom) gifts them this combined shoot as their Christmas gift each year. Of course, she gets great images of her most favorite people out of it too so EVERYBODY is happy! Best gift ever, hands down! Here is a quick sneak peek of just a few favorites out of a gizillion images. I don't offer these combined shoots anymore, they're entirely too much work, but I do it for these guys because I love them with all my heart. The boys are super sweet and everyone works so well together that we are a well oiled machine. :)
At the very end I was treated to the oldest cousin (AJ) doing an impromptu dubstep dance routine for me. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a HUGE fan of dancing in all its forms and I was BLOWN AWAY by this boy's MAD skills. Seriously, he is gifted and FEELS the music. I was beyond impressed and there's no doubt in my mind that I will be able to say one day: "I knew him when he was but a wee lad and I was the one who photographed him growing up!" :)
This was my last shoot of the year so I want to take a moment to heartily wish everyone a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
